Our NHS Needs Support From This Tory Government.

Last week, after having my ears chewed off by my partner and daughter, I walked into the A+E department at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

I presented with chest pain, an elevated heart rate and a general feeling of...blergh.
Because of my history I was bumped to the top of the queue and given an ECG, prodded, poked and punctured.

The department and people were professional, caring and thorough.

They were surprised I was not under the care of a doctor, even more surprised that I had stopped my medication, but happy that I appeared in control of my condition.

With a request that I reconsider my decision re health professionals, they let me depart three hours later.

I am grateful to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and the staff that work there.
The NHS is a great institution and needs our support and protection from our tory governments policies.

To all Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and Staff working not only at Shrewsbury but in our NHS - I am very grateful and Thank You.
