1000 deaths in Ten Years

Two journalists die every week and have been for the last 10 years.

Though many are accidents, including incidents of 'friendly fire', many are MURDERED.

We have the recent deaths in Russia. An ex KGB agent turned journalist falling(!) to his death. He was investigating the murder of Anna Politkovskaya, shot while compiling evidence of Russian Government complicity in Chechen atrocities.

There is growing suspicion that the 2006 attack on a Russian school may have been a 'False Flag'. Criminals in the Russian Government organising an attack on their own people to further their interests in neighbouring countries.

In Rio, 2002, Tim Lopez, was tortured, killed and his body then set on fire, while investigating Drug and Sex rings, that included children, in the slums of the city.

No-one has been arrested for these murders.
For some, there is not even a police investigation.

Why are not members of the World Press demanding the criminals responsible be held accountable ?

World Press Freedom Day, in May, would be a great time to start.
